In line with our management policy, which is rooted in “The Sumitomo Spirit” and “Corporate Philosophy of the Sumitomo Densetsu Group”, we have always served as a comprehensive engineering firm that contributes to society through the building of social infrastructure.

Within the "VISION 24" medium-term management plan, which we established in 2020, we position "enhancing enterprise value in anticipation of the future" as one of the key measures. Amid sweeping changes in our global environment and society, we consider the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as well as environmental, social and governance (ESG) considerations, to be integral parts of our business endeavors, and pursue related measures with the goal of ensuring that our company is one which remains a necessity in the eyes of customers, shareholders, members of society at large, employees, and all other stakeholders.

Additionally, we established the SEM VALUE in January 2022 as a means of expressing the values that we believe all Sumitomo Densetsu employees should cherish.

SEM VALUE is divided into three areas: sincerity, teamwork and creation, and include "pursuing work with sincerity and enthusiasm for our customers and society", "growing by mutually recognizing each other's diversity and values", and "continuing to take on the challenge of creating a sustainable society". Moreover, we believe that SEM VALUE is in line with the underlying philosophy behind the SDGs.

Moving forward, the Sumitomo Densetsu Group will work together as a unified team to help build a sustainable society and bolster corporate value through expansion of our business activities into fields with a low environmental impact and the pursuit of environmental conservation via energy creation, storage and savings along with other measures related to carbon neutrality.
